Practice Description - Wrongful Dismissal Mediation
Background - I was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004 after articling with a large management side boutique firm. I then spent the next 9 years at another leading boutique firm acting for employers only in employment and labour matters. In 2013, I started my own practice where I represented employees in wrongful dismissal actions, in addition to my employer side practice. In 2024, I began my appointment at the Ontario Labour Relations Board as a Vice Chair. I am available starting February 2024 to serve as a mediator for wrongful dismissal disputes. I believe my unique experience as a business owner and advocate for employees and employers allows me to fully understand the complexities and dynamics of any wrongful dismissal dispute and to effectively facilitate a resolution.
