Background - I am a bilingual (French/English) mediator and litigator at Goldblatt Partners LLP in Toronto. I have been mediating disputes since 2019. I draw on nearly 15 years of varied litigation practice to help parties find practical resolutions that meet their needs and interests, in less time and with less money than litigation.

I am a creative problem-solver who is tireless in my pursuit of a mutually-beneficial resolution. I couple an analytical legal mind with a practical approach to dispute resolution, helping parties achieve solutions that are designed to meet their underlying interests while recognizing personal and business realities. I have a unique ability to make parties feel comfortable and respected and to generate meaningful discussion in order to guide them towards enduring resolutions.

I hold pre-mediation meetings to better understand the parties and the issues, and to design a mediation process that is tailored to the case at hand and the parties’ needs. Where parties have an ongoing or longstanding relationship, my focus is on relationship preservation and management (and, when necessary, helping parties find a graceful exit).

I hold a Qualified Mediator designation from the ADR Institute of Canada, and have a Certificate in Mediating Disputes from Harvard Law's Program on Negotiation and a Certificate in Transformative Mediation from the University of Waterloo/Community Justice Initiatives. I have joint law degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law and am licensed to practice law in Ontario and Quebec. I am a former member of the Board of Directors for the ADR Institute of Ontario. I am a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario (AJEFO – the French-speaking lawyers’ association of Ontario). I am also a roster member of Ontario's Mandatory Mediation Program.
Fees - Please inquire about rates by emailing my assistant Samantha at sboghossian@goldblattpartners.com. Rates vary depending on the complexity of the dispute, whether parties are in litigation, and the number of sessions required. For in-person mediations, I have facilities available in Toronto (Bay & Dundas) at no additional charge.
