Practice Description - I have been a mediator for over 10 years, and practised as a general litigator and employment lawyer for almost 25 years. I offer mediation and other ADR services for the following types of disputes:

Employment law - including wrongful dismissal and human rights matters

Debt collection and mortgage enforcement

Business disputes - including shareholder remedies, partnership issues, family businesses, and construction matters

Estate litigation

Real property - including neighbour / property line disputes, real estate transactions, commercial tenancies

Insurance matters

Personal injury (excluding MVA)- including slip and falls, product liability, and assault

Professional negligence

I combine elements of both interests-based and evaluative styles of mediation. I tenaciously pursue the settlement of a dispute while maintaining respect for the parties' ability to make wise decisions for themselves on the advice of their counsel.
