Background - Leslie Reaume has been an effective decision-maker and mediator for many years. She works as an arbitrator, mediator, and investigator in labour, employment, and human rights cases at the federal and provincial levels. Leslie is a former Vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (2007 to 2019). Before her appointment to the Tribunal, Leslie practised employment, human rights, administrative, and constitutional law. She also mediated discrimination and pay equity disputes involving federal public service employers, unions, and employees. Leslie has resolved hundreds of public and private sector disputes, many of which involve complex legal and public policy issues. In 2019, Leslie was appointed to a three-year term as a part-time adjudicator with the Yukon Public Service Labour Relations Board. She is a member of the Ontario Labour-Management Arbitrators' Association, the Labour and Employment and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections of the Ontario Bar Association, and the Law Society of Ontario.
