Practice Description - I offer mediation services in all areas of employment and labour law.
Background - I have over 20 years of experience in employment and labour law both in private practice (at a labour and employment boutique law firm) and as an adjudicator. As a lawyer, I represented and advised clients in all areas of employment and labour law, including civil litigation, human rights, pay equity, workplace safety and insurance and occupational health and safety. I co-authored texts in labour relations and executive contracts, and served as a contributing editor to a labour relations reporter. Since 2013, I have served as a Vice-Chair at the Ontario Labour Relations Board. I also sit as a private arbitrator and mediator, and have served as a Vice-Chair on the Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal.
