| Background - | 1989 - 1998: Articled at and practiced at Koskie Minsky. Labour and employment practice was exclusively on behalf of trade unions or employees. Practice included significant component of construction lien work (originally on behalf of trade unions but then more generally on behalf of non-union lien claimants and defendants) and general commercial litigation. 1998 - 2014: Joined Norton Rose Fulbright Canada ("NRF") in 1998, became partner in 2001 and practiced there until June 2014 when I left private practice to establish a private mediation and arbitration practice. At NRF practiced exclusively on behalf of management in labour, employment and human rights matters. Practice included significant component of business/commercial transaction work. November 2014 joined the Ontario Labour Relations Board as a full time Vice Chair |
